Key points
- Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from your travel date, with blank pages.
- Visa photos need a plain white background and a clear, recent view of your face.
- Keep PAN and Aadhaar copies ready, and make sure your name is spelt the same on every document.
- As reported for 2026–27, hotel and transport are booked through Nusuk before the visa is issued.
- Start early: most delays come from expiring passports, rejected photos and name mismatches.
Start with your passport
Your passport must stay valid for at least 6 months from the day you travel, with blank pages for the visa and stamps. Everything else depends on it, so check the expiry date and the empty pages before you think about dates or packages.
If it is close to expiry, damaged, or the pages are nearly full, renew it first. Our team can guide you through the renewal and the appointment.
If you renew, use the new passport number for every booking. A visa is issued on one passport number and usually cannot be moved to a new passport.
Your main document checklist
For Umrah from India you need your passport, a recent photo with a white background, PAN and Aadhaar copies, and any vaccination certificate your season asks for. Indian tax rules usually ask for your PAN when you pay for an international tour package, and Aadhaar is commonly used as identity and address proof.

The exact list can change with the season and the traveller. We confirm your final checklist before you submit anything.
Photo requirements in plain words
- A recent colour photo, taken within the last few months
- Plain white background, with no shadows or patterns
- Face looking straight at the camera, eyes open, neutral expression
- No cap or tinted glasses; women may wear a headscarf as long as the full face is visible
- A sharp digital copy for the online form; a phone photo of a printed photo is often rejected

Vaccination and Nusuk-linked bookings
A meningitis (ACYW) vaccine certificate has been asked for in recent seasons, but Saudi health rules for pilgrims are announced each season. We tell you what applies to your travel dates, and you get the certificate from an approved centre.
As reported for the 2026–27 season, your hotel and transport in Saudi Arabia must be booked through the Nusuk platform before the visa is issued. In simple words: bookings first, visa second. Our team handles this step for group travellers and confirms the current rules when you apply.

Share documents only through our team’s confirmed process, keep copies of everything you hand over, and keep a record of every payment.
Questions
At least 6 months from your date of travel, with blank pages. If it expires sooner, renew it before booking, because the visa is issued on your passport number.
